Trees

Trafford Council and Red Rose Forest are working closely together to maintain greenery within our communities for future generations and we are currently looking at ways of working with them to help ensure the Humphrey Park area can benefit. We are very much in favour of Trafford's 2 for 1 tree replacement policy.

Trees provide many advantages to an urban area which include:
  • Improving local air quality
  • Reducing noise polution
  • Stabilising temperatures, particularly on very hot days
  • Adding value to urban areas by making them more attractive and consequently increasing house values by 5% to 15%
  • Promoting a sense of local pride and well being
You can find more information on the advantages of trees on Trafford Council's website and on Red Rose Forest's website.

If you are interested in helping to preserve the presence of suitable trees and greenery in the area, or you would be interested in having a tree placed outside your house as and when they become available, please do get in touch and let us know.
